FRANCES MACK

I'm a freelance multimedia journalist, specializing in science, environment and health reporting. I leverage creative communication tools to make the intricacies of our world accessible and engaging. ​I have writing, editing, photography, videography, marketing and design experience. My work has been published by the American Journal of Undergraduate Research, Planet Forward, Chicago Health and the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

I'm currently a journalism grad student at Northwestern, where I work as a Medill Reports editor and as an assistant resident director on campus.​ I graduated from Lehigh University in 2024 with high honors and a Bachelor of Arts in scientific and environmental journalism with minors in museum studies and environmental science.​​​
